- All Vorta and Jem'Hadar are created for service to the Dominion, so all have served in the Dominion forces in some capacity.
- Jem'Hadar are no longer reliant on ketracel white. Instead, they have to eat, drink, and sleep like most other organic beings.
- This species is allied with the Federation. If your character applied to Starfleet Academy before 2410, they will have required a letter of recommendation from a Starfleet officer ranked Commander or higher. If this was after 2410 (with the establishment of the Khitomer Alliance,) they could apply without the letter. Alternatively, your character can be an exchange officer or a total transfer from their home faction's forces. If you go with the latter, you must include why they chose to swap to Starfleet.
