- Lanthanites have less lore than the similar species El-Aurian. It may be easier to write an El-Aurian instead.
- This species is not a member of the Federation. In order for a character of this species to apply to Starfleet Academy, they will have required a letter of recommendation from a Starfleet officer ranked Commander or higher.
- Extensive detail on their past; if you're writing them to be a long-lived character, then you need to include detail on what they've done for all of that time. While we understand the appeal of making long-lived characters, please remember that the older the character you go for, the more you have to write and the more the admins need to check over!
